We had a beautiful outdoor summer wedding this weekend. It was hot, but beautiful! Elizabeth and Jonathan were blessed with friends and family attending their wedding and reception. A large, shaded, oak tree was the backdrop for the ceremony. Shades of pink and ivory flower balls were hung from the banches.
A tent was provided for the food area, catered by Sweet Gum Bottom B&B. A wide menu of smoked brisket, shrimp and grits, cheesy potato bake, broccoli salad, marinated vegetables, pasta salad, oriental salad and manderin orange and rice salad was served for a 11:30 lunch. Also, rolls and plenty of liquids to cool everyone down. Delicious brides cake, groom’s cake and tea cakes were enjoyed by everyone.
